The woman appears outside
The cashier looked at the photos, then passed Kofi to the window. The woman was outside the window, palm pressed to her mouth. Kofi backed toward the exit.
The woman kept pace along the glass, even though there was only a drainage ditch outside. Kofi took a picture. On his phone, the woman was inside, close enough to touch his shoulder.
Trapped inside
The cashier tried the exit. It wouldn't open. Kofi drove a chair through the window.
